She works with business students to help them learn to connect with one another, to effectively lead, to improve their communication skills and confidence.
She has facilitated improvisation and circle workshops at Red Bull, Stepping Forward LA, PCC Birth Center, Northwestern University, University of Illinois Chicago, Columbia College, and the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago.
She is a Chicago-based teacher, improviser, and writer. She has written for numerous magazines and received her master’s degree from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. She has studied improvisation, comedy, and storytelling for the past two decades.
I’ve seen the power of play help people become more present listeners, effective communicators, and connected leaders. In my workshops, I create a safe space so we can get out of our own way and connect with the people around us.
Joy, play, and purpose are meaningful spaces for groups to operate from, so why not spark that and keep breathing into the flame?
